Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) system upgrade from 3rd to 5th February 2023
On 2nd February 2023, Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) issued a statement announcing that there will be a system upgrade from 3rd till 5th February 2023, affecting the following services:
1) Tax Payer Identification (TIN) and VRN Registration Services;
2) E-filing Services;
3) Payment Registration Services for Domestic Taxes.
Following the upgrade, the due date for filing Skills Development Levy (SDL) return, Statement of Tax Witheld for Employees (PAYE), and other Withholding Taxes returns for the month of January 2023 has been extended from 7th February 2023 to 10th February 2023.
