Starting April 1st, 2024, TANAPA will implement new fees for tourist vehicles, categorized by weight.

Vehicles weighing from 0 to 2 tons will be charged TZS 20,000, excluding VAT, in line with current 2024 TANAPA tariffs.

Extended vehicles weighing from 2 tons up to 3.5 tons will be charged the fee applicable to vehicles weighing between 2 to 3 tons, which is TZS 35,000, excluding VAT as per current 2024 TANAPA tariffs.

This adjustment aims to simplify procedures, reduce expenses, and enhance the business environment and customer satisfaction.

This decision follows discussions among TANAPA, TATO, and other Associations to address issues with the existing flat rate fees.

It’s important to note that this communication amends a previous one and does not impact trucks transporting tourists.
