Tourism remains top priority in Zanzibar, Mwinyi tells Blair

Unguja. President Hussein Mwinyi has on Thursday met with former British Prime Minister Tony Blair to discuss the importance of the tourism industry to the Zanzibar economy.
President Mwinyi emphasized that tourism remains a top priority for the government, despite the fact that the blue economy includes five other sectors.
Tourism contributes 30percent of government revenue in Zanzibar and President Mwinyi believes that there is still room for Improvement.
